Silt Fence

Silt Fence was created to prevent silt and sediment from traveling with stormwater from construction sites. The fence is intended to be placed down slope of construction zones, proper installation of silt fence enables stormwater to pass through the fencing while conserving soil onsite and retaining silt and sediment deposits on the uphill side. There are a variety of types of silt fence available from Penticuff LLC to meet specifications enforced by local ordinances. Important variables to consider when choosing silt fence are the slope, the length of the slope, and the size of the area from which the fence will catch runoff.
